Wedged between Tibet and India, Nepal is a country of exotic history and spectacular beauty. It wasn't "discovered" by Western travelers until the sixties. Yet even now its remote location has prevented this country from becoming a tourist Mecca.
From the top of Mt. Everest to the bread-basket plains of the Terai, Nepal is a country that never stops fascinating the visitor. In Villages life has not changed much for centuries, while the City of Kathmandu teems with old and new. The country abounds with ethnic cultures, religions, flora and fauna, and the world's most breathtaking mountains.
